Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
My boyfriend and I were together for a little over 3 months, we were good friends prior to that. I thought that everything was good between us, I mean he had even move in with me. But then one day he just left, and I have not hear from him since. ( That has been 6 months ago.) The funny thing is that I am not mad at him for this, infact I was never mad at him for it, I am however mad at myself for it. I know this sounds really stupid, but if he was to want to come back right now, I would take him back. I miss him so much. I know I should move on, but how? Please help.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You can't move on because you have not allowed yourself to go through all the steps of feeling about what he did.

You do have anger inside of you and you have to let it out. Try punching a pillow every night for a week and saying "damn you" while you do it.

It isn't clear to me whether you ever got an explanation from him as to why he did move out. If you haven't that is another lack of closure. You need to know and understand why he moved out. If you don't know, call him up and ask him why.

Have you cried about his leaving or did you just passively accept it. If you didn't cry then you have a lot of grieving left inside of you.

Think of the whole process and make sure you have allowed the feelings to come out on the whole subject. If they haven't you will have a hard time moving on.

Good luck!
George
