I live in Texas now (I moved) and he lives in California

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I have had this friend for 4 years now I thought he was cute, but I never tried to pursure a relationship. All of a sudden I get butterflies when he talks to me, or even if I hear his name. I'm not sure if he likes me, but we talk A LOT now. There are only two problems I am being faced with: 1. my best friend had a crush on him for the past 3 years, and when she told him, he turned her down (so I don't know how she would handle he and I dating) and 2. I live in Texas now (I moved) and he lives in California.

So how do I know if he likes me, and if he does, how do I pursue a relationship without making my best friend mad at me?

Ask your girlfriend if she minds it if you date him.

You can tell if he likes you if he spends time with you and says nice things to you. If he ignores you then he doesn't like you.

My advice is to forget the whole thing-- Texas and California are too far apart.
