the biggest problem could be because he's 17 and i'm 14

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I've been talking to this guy on Msn messenger that i've never met but i know about him because many of my freinds know him. And We have talked nonstop latly and it is great and i think we both have a great connection with each other.. We both have the same beliefs and morals.. But i'm still afraid to call or meet him which he has asked me to do many times.. he even offered to come comfort me when my grandma almost died i mean how sweet is that?.. he's great but the biggest problem could be because he's 17 and i'm 14.. But donb't you think that if we have such a good attraction that age should't matter? and how about would i go telling my parents? And what about the part that he's more experienced.. Even tho he said he belives in no sex till mariage like me! I'm still curious about all this stuff.. Thanx alot

RomanceClass.com Advice
An age difference is usually not a problem.

However, you pointed out several concerns. First, what would your parents think of it... I don't know, but it is unlikely to be positive. Second is that you are not sexually legal yet meaning you can't have sex with him without jeopardizing him with the law.

It's nice to know you both believe in waiting until you are married to have sex but sometimes things happen without your expecting it.

You better talk this over with your parents.

Good luck!
George
