how do I know if he really likes me or not? He hardly even talked to me that day

Hi, I'm the girl who had the question that started with "at the 8th grade dance". You responded that "he certainly does like me" but if he does, why won't he let me know? The other day I paid for him to go to Six Flags because a bunch of us were planning to go (it ended up just being me, him and another guy, though). The other guy who is a kind of a friend of mine but is a really good friend of the guy I like was nicer to me than the one I like. Also, even though I paid his way (not that I expect anything in return, I did it because I wanted to) he has not I.M.'d me or anything since then. I would think that he would at least do that. He is the most confusing boy I have ever met. Dancing with me, offering me his shoes, etc. is so sweet but how do I know if he really likes me or not? He hardly even talked to me that day. The other boy sacrificed and sat by himself on almost every ride so that I did not have to sit by myself, he stood in line with me while I got my season pass (the boy I like went off to het himself a soda and never sat by himself) he put water on a scratch I got on my arm and talked to me. What's up with this other guy? Should I just forget about him?

I'd just say he had a bad day for some reason.

Maybe he felt uncomfortable being with you and another guy. It is really hard to tell. More disturbing is his failure to contact you afterward. There is really no excuse for that.

If you want to know why, you will have to ask him directly which is awkward.

If you want to give him another chance, go for it but my guess is that he may be a loser and you will want to dump him.
