Do you think going out with a member of the opposite sex to the movies is cheating or am I just too Jealous

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
My partner and I have being together for over four years, she is currently in another country. I contact her via email everyday, and I am going to see her in a month. She replied to one email explaining how she went to the movies with a friend. When I asked who this friend was, I found out it was a guy. I was sick in the stomach. She met him through her work. I am concerned that this could affect our relationship. Do you think going out with a member of the opposite sex to the movies is cheating or am I just too Jealous p.s she has only known the guy for about a month

RomanceClass.com Advice
Her going out with another guy may be no problem or may be a problem.

The way to find out is to discuss it with her. It would be better to do it on the phone. Don't come across as a jealous demon. Just find out what her feelings are for this other guy. I imagine she will say that he is just a friend. Nothing wrong with that.

To fight the jealousy, attack it whenever it rears its ugly head. Tell the jealousy to go away and stop bothering you that your girl loves you. After a 100 times the jealousy will get tired of trying to get your goat and give up.

Hope this helps!
George
