My girlfriend of 1 1/2 years suddenly said we are officially on a break

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Male
My girlfriend of 1 1/2 years suddenly said we are officially on a break. No contact for the past 3 days. We have talked in one way shape or form every day for the past year and a half. We had a heated fight over the phone and I ended up calling her a b...... She hung up on me at that point. I regret saying that and my emotions got the best of me. (she had also said somethings to me, but it still doesn't make it right). I tried immediately to apologize, but she didn't want to talk to me at all. Other issues have been she feels like she needs space. I felt I had been giving it to her, but I now realize its wasn't enough. Its been three days and I miss her so much. She is 12 years younger than me with a great daughter. I want to talk, but I'm afraid it will make things worse. I want to give her the time, but I'm afraid to loose her. Is there anything other that waiting for her that I can do? I can't imagine life with anyone else.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Keep trying to contact her.

Sure, she needs her space, but she also needs to know that you still love her. And, you need the comfort of talking with her again.

Perhaps if you send her some flowers she would feel like talking. Also, write her a letter explaining how bad you feel about hurting her.

These simple steps may be enough to bring her around.

I sure hope so!
George
