Hey, I like this girl who used to like me, but now she is going out with another guy. I want to slowly show her that I like her (but its the summmer, so its harder because we are in high school), but I don't want to piss her off (since she is going out with this other guy). What should I do?

Get her phone number and call her up.

Keep the conversation short and sweet. Just say you wondered how she was doing. Then ask if she has any special plans for the summer and tell her what you are doing. That's plenty for a first call.

This will let her know that you are interested, but shouldn't make her mad. If she reminds you that she is going out with someone else, say yeah that's great, he's a nice guy.

Call every two weeks or so and just make small talk.

Might work.
