If someone is a class clown and you try to get closer to a girl and they say 'but your a class clown' what do I do to get closer to the girl?

Clowns have feelings too.

It is unlikely that you will change your personality (nor should you) so my advice is to find a girl who likes your clownish behavior. There are plenty that do.

This way you can be yourself and she will like you for it. Pay attention to the girls who laugh when you act clownish.
