I really like her but I'm afraid I'm not really up to her "level" of maturity
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male Hi, I'm currently 20 this year and was thinking.. I've been seeing this girl for dinners and movies and all. Problem is, she's 23. We're close but not to a point of any "intimacy". I really like her but I'm afraid I'm not really up to her "level" of maturity. I'm afriad people might talk as well, which I'm sure they will. What should I do?
RomanceClass.com Advice A lot of maturity is level-headedness, good communications skills, and a reasonable amount of risk taking.
You pass the first test, but flunk the next two.
Talk to your friend a lot more and tell her what you are thinking. For example, does she consider your age difference a problem and do you seem mature enough for her? Good communications make for good relationships.
Lastly, you are going to have to get over your fears of what others might think. Life is a bowl of cherries... eat em up!
Good luck,
George
