I begged for his forgiveness and he said he forgave me

Visitor's Question from a 31-40 year old Female
My husband and I have been married for 13 years> Three years ago I had an affair, and he found out after I had ended it and so I admitted to him that it was true and that I had ended it and I begged for his forgivness and he said he forgave me. Now he believes I have cheated on him again and I have not, but he can not and will not believe me. How can I make him believe me? I fell so deeply into love with him after my mistake its like a whole new and diffrent type of love.. He now says he isnt inlove with me anymore and that he only cares for me,because he believes that I have cheated a 2nd time and I havent! He will not even touch me when I want him to it is only when he wants to, but yet he says hes not inlove with me !!! I dont know I feel like I am getting mixed signals and I feel used when he does this but yet I love him so much I am willing to let him do this to me I feel like he owes me some pain but not for something I didnt do! How can I make him believe me and regain his trust and how do I know if he is really falling out of love with me....... This is driving me CRAZY!!!!!!!

RomanceClass.com Advice
Trust can be built up by having close honest conversations where you assure him that you are being faithful.

But, in your case, it has gone too far for that. You and he need to see a professional marriage counselor to help you work out your problems.

I wish you luck!
