Afterwards, I found out that he really did like me but was going out with another girl

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
This guy had a crush on me. One of my ,and his, friends asked me to go out with him. I thought they was joking and I didn't want to make a fool out of myself if he didn't like me so I said no. Afterwards, I found out that he really did like me but was going out with another girl thats his friends hooked him up with after I turned him down. It turns out that he still likes me more that the girlfriend he has now and I like him too. Do I ask him to break up with his G/F and go out with me or do I wait for him to decide to ask me out again? He doesn't know that i like him. Maybe he doesn't want to ask and get turned down again. I think I will tell him how I feel but I will not put him on the spot by asking him out while he has a G/F. What do you think?

RomanceClass.com Advice
Your mistake was that you didn't walk up to him and ask him if he really wanted to go out with you. Face-to-face is the best thing.

My advice now is to tell him that you are sorry you turned him down because you weren't sure if he was kidding. Tell him you know he has a girlfriend but that you wanted him to know that you like him and would go out with him once he no longer has a girlfriend.

Good luck!
George
