I really like this girl but there's a problem

Hi, I really like this girl but there's a problem. She's currently in 7th grade, and I'm in 10th. I was wondering if this is to big of an age difference.
I know how it looks, a 16 year old dating a 13 year old, but I don't want anything but her. I respect her and wouldn't EVER date a girl just to use them.

You should ask your school nurse what the state laws are for a 16 yr old dating a 13 yr old. If she advises you not to date the 13 yr old you should follow her advice.

My advice is to date someone more your own age. It is important for you development both helping you become more mature and also because you would have common friends which is part of the fun of dating.

If you are having trouble meeting girls of your own age, you could try a local youth group at a church... it's a fun way to meet people.
