I like this guy. I don't know if he likes me or not. I don't want to tell him the truth because the last time I did that it resulted in rejection. I guess I'm just afraid of being rejected again. I'm only 14 and I've never been "out" with onyone. I want this guy to be my first offical date. I don't want ot be too picky, but I really badly want to go out with him. Should I tell him I like him?

Don't worry about rejection, it happens to everybody and especially at your age when boys are not socially mature yet.

You could just tell him you like him and ask him to go to a movie or something. Or, you could be a little more subtle and tell him you are "developing feelings" for him and see what he says. If he doesn't give a meaningful answer then ask him how he feels about you.
