We only talk at work and the nights we do go out

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I met a guy at work who is 4 years older than me. Our boss set us up for a night on the town. The next weekend we went out to a concert. Things have been going on for a month now, but moving slowly. He has trouble picking up the phone during the week and calling. This past weekend, we weren't able to go out and he didn't bother calling or letting me know that he would try to call. We only talk at work and the nights we do go out. Some people are telling me he's excuses are legitimate because he does offer up future plans, but I'm feeling like it's not going to work. What do you think?

Have you tried calling him? Or, telling him that you would like to talk with him during the week?

I agree that he should have the energy and interest to pick up the phone and call you just to talk, but that's our opinion. Talk to him and find out what's going on in his mind. Communications is very important to a good relationship.
