Get her off your mind

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
My girlfriend broke up with me about 3 months ago and I'm 14 years old. She said it was because we had nothing in common but that is not true because sat down and thought about it and we have many things in common. She said we could be friends but she hasn't talked to me since. and whats worse is that I'm taking trombone lessons from her dad so I have to go back to her house every wednesday. It hurts so much inside it feels like I'm losing my mind. She also lied to me about her feelings to one of our friends. Please tell me what to do and respond ASAP, I don't wanna feel like this anymore.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You are going to have to get this girl off of your mind.

It isn't an easy thing to do, but you have to do it. One way is to confront your feelings whenever they come up. For example, if you start thinking of her break in and say to yourself "That's over, I'm going to find someone new!"
Keep saying this everytime you think of her and pretty soon those thoughts will go away because they realize they are not working any more.

Looking for someone new is also helpful. Look around, there are tons of girls who would be delighted to have a boyfriend. There is one behind every tree. Look around your classrooms and see who you like. Ask around and find out who is looking for a boyfriend. You will find someone, if you try hard. Just trust in yourself!

Hope this helps!
