Ok, im talking to this guy J* who used to go out with my best friend. She said she doesn't care bc she likes his brother. Anyways, we talk on the phone and we've written a few letters. He's comming to my house after school but i dont think ill ever end up going out with him. I dont wanna waste my time with a guy if all we're ever gonna be is friends. I really like him but i have no clue what to do. We are both in JROTC and at the military ball, we slow danced. I wanted to stay in that moment forever. i also wanted to kiss him but there was no way id say that.Please help me. I dont wanna fall too hard and then get my heart broken. Thank you. Talk to him about how you feel. Let him know that you wanted to kiss him but didn't know how to make it happen. He will be happy to hear what you have to say.

It's sad that so many relationships never happen because the two people are too shy to say what's on their minds.
