Jealousy causing problems

I've realized that my boyfriend is very jealous and it seems that he doesn't want me to have any male friends. A friend of mine from school called me the other night and my boyfriend got upset and told me he doesn't think he can trust me because i have too many male friends. How am i supposed to prove to him that he can trust me. HELP me please. It's been 3 days and he hasn't spoken to me.

You can't really prove to him that he can trust you. The trust has to come from within him. He lacks self-esteem and maturity and is perhaps a controlling personality.

To build up his trust, have meaningful honest discussions with him on this topic. Tell him you love only him and that it is perfectly normal for girls to have friendships with other boys while dating a guy.
