there is a college professor I have a major crush on but

Hello I'am 19 years old and I just starte college a year ago, I've been having a serious problem there is a college professor I have a major crush on but thing is he's marryed and I dont even know if I should persue this or not thing is if I do should I send a e-mail telling him of my feelings sense I'm to shy to go up to him and tell him to his face.

I've had this problem in the past with a highschool teacher but I was stupid and I made friends with him and then one day I told him I had a crush and he never spoke to me again sense. Should I at least warn my professor of my crush problem just so he can watch out and hopefully it wont turn into this big thing like it did back in highschool.

My advice is to stay away from married men.

And, don't waste your time sending him an email. He will either reply and say that he is married, or he will reply and say that college ethics prevent him from dating students.
