Well about 3 weeks ago i met this guy at a volleyball tournament

Well about 3 weeks ago i met this guy at a volleyball tournament.Unfortunately he lives almost 20 minutes away from me. Any way we started talking and it took all my courage but i asked him for his email. The next day we talked on messenger for like an hour and a half. (He started talking to me)He said a bunch of sweet stuff like he wanted to teach me how to snowboard and how he would show me around his old town if we were ever there together.Then he said we should hang out some time and he gave me his number, i gave him mine too. Well lately he stopped talking to me first on messenger,(i start the conversations now) and i dont know if maybe he is bored or not interested or what? Well i saw him the other nite and we didnt really talk much because he was playing volleyball. So today i get an email from him thanking me for coming to see him and that he's sorry we didnt really get to talk and that he felt bad. Talk about mixed messages! I dont know if he likes me or "likes" me. I do know he doesnt have a girlfriend.

Please help, this has been driving me crazy!(sorry for how long this was but i felt i needed to include all of it)

First let me compliment you on your interest in volleyball... it is one of the few sports where men and women can compete together and also later into life.

As far as this guy goes, I'm not really sure what to say. It isn't clear what's going on in his mind. He seems to like you. Maybe he prefers talking on the phone than via the Internet.

Assuming you have transportation my advice is to ask him out to dinner or a movie. This could answer your question. That's what I'd do.
