I want to PROVE my love

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
Ok, basiclly, im gona make this real quick an short. I love this girl, not a crush, not a fling, but I really love her. I want to prove that I really do, but the thing is, I dont want to prove to her, and have her not believe me, I really want to do something that can really prove my self.

I have come up with many ways, but Im afraid that if I dont do it in the right way, she wont believe me, and then in the future she still might not believe me. I really want to have something that will really shock her, or amaze her, and have her really believe me. I know I could give something to her in a material way, but maybe something in a more mental way, would be more truthful.

So if you have any advice, or any thoughts PLEASEEE help me out. Thanks alot!

Aha, but if it was REALLY true love, you wouldn't need to prove it! Love isn't about diamond rings or trips to Paris. Love is about honesty, faith, trust, caring, compassion, tenderness, listening, sharing. It is NEVER about having to prove it, it is about knowing that it exists.

I should hope that you are showing your love to her every day! That constant, trusting, repetition is what love is all about. If you do a lot of stuff on day X but weren't doing anything on days Y or Z or A or B, that's not love. Love isn't about doing a "proof". Love is about BEING in love.

So be in love with her. Give her a tender kiss when you see her, even if it's just on her hand. Really LISTEN when she talks to you. Talk to her whenever you are able to. If she needs help, be there for her. If she just wants moral support, support her. Encourage her in the things she loves. Make efforts to have her know your family and friends, and make efforts to get to know her family and friends.

If you want to take some sort of "new" action to further reinforce these other things you've already been doing, give thought to what her favorite hobbies are. And then actively learn more or do more with her in one of those areas. Every one of us has things we like to do - horseback riding, skiing, soccer, whatever. So whatever her greatest hobby is, get into it more yourself. The best thing one could hope for in love is being in love with your best friend and best playmate. So be that for her.
