He is very shy

i kinda like this boy from uni we tlk alot online but hes really shy an doesnt tend to say much when i pass him in the corridor. He says he thinks im "hot" but then he goes telling me about other girlz that he's seen in clubs ect.He keeps telling me that he wants to talk to me but he doesnt know what to say!!! Is he actually intrested or doesnt he want anymore out of our friendship??

You will have to take the bull by the horns!

Since he is so shy, you will need to bring him out of this shyness. Every time you pass him in the corridor say "hi" with a big smil and say his name. After a while he will get used to it and be ready to talk. Make a date for something simple and have a large number of topics ready to talk about. If he answers questions with one or two words, follow up with your opinion of the question. Keep the questions simple... family, friends, pets, music, games, school, etc.

I think he wants to talk with you and advance your relattionship but is just too shy to do it himself. Once you open him up, you probably won't be able to keep him from talking.
