Summer vacation is coming up soon

Me and my boyfriend have been going out for about a half of a year. We really love eachother! But now, with summer vacation coming up soon, we won't be able to see each other. He is going with his family to Indiana and I am going with my family. We won't see eachother for about or 3 or 4 whole months! Will this effect our relationship? and maybe like, put it out? Also, how can we communicate often, that isn't constant, and annoying, you know, but that is civil, and to let eachother know we are thinking of one another? I am really going to miss him!

Try to keep up your communications during the summer or there is a good chance that your relationship will suffer.

If you can, use email. If not, get each other's phone numbers so that you can call every so often (once a week?) to catch up on what's happening.

Then there is old-fashioned letter writing.
