I have a crush on this guy

There's this guy who I have a crush on. We're pretty good friends already, and we're in quite a few extra-curricular activities together. (Jazz band, show choir, science olympiad events, band, and choir)Our football team made it to state this year and a bunch of students were going on coach busses. All of our friends were on one bus, but he and I were the only ones that weren't troublemakers or sixth-graders. He sat next to me on the way there and on the way back. (Which took 10 hours, total) While we were there, I asked him out. He looked at me and said, "Well, that depends. Would this be going-out going-out or just going... out?" I was such an idiot and I responded, "It doesn't really matter." Then he smiled and said "Maybe." ... It just so happens that a few months before that my "friend" blackmailed me to ask out another one of my guy friends. So on the bus ride back he asked me if I still liked that other guy. I said no. I sit next to him in social studies, and sometimes he looks at me. I talk to him a bit, and I've been over to his house when we were working on a science olympiad event. Sometimes we e-mail each other. My "friend" says that it's very obvious that I like him... but I'm not intending that! What should I do and do you think that he likes me?

It seems that he likes you. You two need to have stronger communications so that you understand each other better.

It is important to find out how much he likes you and it is also important for you to make it clear that your feelings for the other "friend" are not romantic.

Do this quickly because relationships can disappear rather quickly if not tended to properly.
