Can't make a hickey

I read your article on how to give a hickey but I still can't do it! I don't understand what you mean by 'just suck', that's not helping me. Whenever I suck really hard it just hurts my tongue. Everyone else can give hickeys but me, I feel so stupid. Please help me! I'm 14 turning 15 this year.
