Boyfriend won't say he loves her

my boyfriend of almost 2 years has not told me he loves me yet- will he ever? he has been married 2 times and hurt plenty more- i tell him i love him and he response is nothing really- when i ask him if he loves me he just says maybe. that hurts! is ok to stay with someone who has not told you them words- i love him with all of my heart. he told me he will tell me when he is ready. but i still long to hear them words. i know he loves me and he shows me in his own way but i still want to him say it. thanks for your advice.

Unfortunately, he has made it clear that he won't say "I love you" until he feels ready. You can't really change him because if you make him say it you know it won't be real.

If you know he loves you, then that might be what you have to settle for. The only other choice is to leave him but you don't sound like that is an option.

Keep on mentioning it from time to time and keep on telling him you love him. Time should work on your side eventually.
