Visitor's Question from a 41-50 year old Female
I have been dating this fellow now for nearly one year.We get along great,but,I feel that lately he has been using me. He has financial problems and I have helped him out with money by giving him money for groceries,taxes, and even some new eye glasses.He says that he appreciates what I have done for him,but,when I ask a favor, he has an excuse not to do it.Lately,he acts as if he doesn't want me around him and I feel very hurt because I do love him very much.I know that he has a lot of personal problems,but,so do I. He says that he appreciates me and loves me,but, his actions tell me different! What should I do? Thank you!

Try to talk this problem out with him. If that doesn't work, go to a counselor with him. If that doesn't work, either dump him or put up with him.
