Homecoming queen is green eyed jealous of her boyfriend

I am a high school senior and im dating a sophomore in college. We have been together 1 year and 5 months. Jealosy has always been THE ISSUE of EVERYTHING in our relationship. It's mostly me...I get jealous for any little thing. My b/f likes to buy magazines that are for men...theres no x-rated stuff or anything like that, just pretty girls in bikinis and their underware and it gives men advice on certain things. I dont like him buying these mag's although they dont really look inappropriate. I always ask him"why buy those mag's and spend money on em when u can just look at me". He ends up responding with "I just do...it has nothing to do with you, its just a cool magazine.." I then begin to threaten our relationship by saying if he doesnt stop, im calling everything quits with us. I hate being like this, i really do, its brought us downhill so much. I dont get jealous over just mag's...i get jealous over other girls who know him and are just his friends...other girls hes had in the past and things they did...girls that just tell him "hi", tv shows with pretty girls...etc. The reason for most of this, is because hes had history with other girls and im upset that it was with them and not me...im guessing maybe i have a low self esteem and think everyones better than me...but, i dont know why i would be that way. I model, act, and i win homecoming every year..its so hard, and i dont understand why i would be like this...hes the first guy ive been jealous with...please...HELP me!!
