Just wants to make out

Hi...im 18 and my girlfriends 17...i've been datine my girlfriend for almost 8 months now and i deeply care for her and love her. However we have not done anything. No sex, no oral, no making out, no french kiss, no nothing. Now not having sex and no oral doesnt bother me and i can live without that. But its the fact that we havent made out at all, in 8 months. Im just wonder how can i approach her to ask if we can take things a step further? I don't want to pressure her into anything i just wanna put it out there and ask but i dont know how...thanks any help is greatly appreciated

There are two approaches. One is your idea of talking it over with her and I would advise that you do that. The other is the more usual one where the guy (or girl) reaches out for the other and starts kissing etc. Either approach should work unless she is conflicted.
