Talking to the Mom of your Ex Girlfriend

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
I WENT TO TALK TO MY COUNSELOR AT SCHOOL ABOUT MY EX-GIRLFRIEND AND I ASKED HER IF I SHOULD GO TALK TO HER MOM AND SHE SAID YES. BUT NOW U WANT TO GET YOUR ADVICE. DO YOU THINK THAT THIS IS A GOOD IDEA?

RomanceClass.com Advice
I don't think I would ever go to the parents of my ex. If I had an issue with my ex, I would talk to my ex about it. A relationship is about how two people relate to each other. Dragging in other people indicates a serious problem with the main relationship.

The only exception would be is if your ex was into something serious and couldn't get out on her own - like drugs or alcoholism. If you're going to her parents to help save her, that's one thing. But just going to them to help you "fix" your relationship with her is a really bad sign.
