Be friends or not?

Okay, this has nothing to do with romance.
I have a friend who started off being really nice, and once I made an effort to get to know him better, he acted really distant, and kind of rude.
My friends say forget him, and one of them doesn't like him, because he always ignores her.
Do you think he's worth being friends with?

Sounds like you would be better off dropping him from your friend list-- he doesn't sound very nice to me.
