Boring relationship
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female My boyfriend and I have been together for over two years, I'm 22 and he's 24. We've been through some rough times in the past, but overall our relationship is great. Sometimes though it seems to get a little boring. We're both college students, and don't have a lot of money to spend to go out and do things, so we usually end up just sitting around the TV. We also both have busy schedules, and our finals week is coming up, so that could also account for the dullness that has come up. We go through spells of "boredom," and I just don't know what to do when it happens. Is it normal to go through stages of boredom? I've looked through the "rekindling the romance" tips section, but not very many of those things seemed appropriate for my problem. Please help!
RomanceClass.com Advice Yes, it is normal to go through this type of stage in a relationship. Particularly when the winter season starts and their is less sunshine. Everything starts feeling blah. Most University campuses have scads of free activities so look in your campus newspaper and I am sure you will find something interesting to do free.
Good luck,
George
