Ex girlfriend is a problem

I have been dating a boy for a couple months now and he has a very jealous ex-girlfriend. The first time we met we got along really well, she even called me up to go hang out with her one night. You could say we were friends but not really good friends. Then randomly one night when I was out with my boyfriend and she was also at the party she started calling me a skank, but she never has really said it to my face it has always been yelling from across the room. All my friends say to ignore her, but this has been going on for two weeks now and I want to say something to her but I don't know what to say! What do you think?
