Wants to date

I like this guy. I've liked him for awhile now,but I never told anyone. But for awhile now I've gotten closer to the guy. I flirt with him and we hang out at church. Then I told my friend and she asked his best friend if he would ever go out with me. But his friend said that the guy I like doesn't like dating. But I really like him a lot and I really wanna go out with him. Is there anyway I can get him to go out with me?At all?Or will he just be stuck on his own ways. He even seems to like me to, but he doesn't like to date!It makes me really sad, I feel like theres no hope in ever getting to be with him. And he's like the perfect guy for me. He's everything I want in a guy. So, please if there is anyway that I can get him to go out with me, or just go on a few dates and see where it goes, please tell me! I need help!

This is a tough one since he has already said he doesn't like to date. But he only said that to his friend. Perhaps if you ask him on date he will say yes. I'd ssy give it a try... you have nothing to lose.
