He Thinks It's a Hickey

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Last night my boyfriend came over..and there was nothing wrong with my neck...but then A little later my neck had this huge red spot on it and It looked dead up like a hickey but he was not sucking on my neck and neither was no one else.I would never let anybody suck on my neck behind C's back..I love him so much and now he's mad becasue he thinks its a hickey but yet I know its not ..because no one touches me like that but him.

What should I do Im sure it will go away its just a red mark but thats not what he thinks I done tried to talk to him and he said he loves me and he hopes im not messing around on him but Im not I love him too much to be a backstabber like that. Please help ...

RomanceClass.com Advice
There's all sorts of issues like this. One of my questions was from a guy who got the crabs from a motel, and his girlfriend was *positive* he had betrayed her and broke up with him. Even though it was just a motel! Some people are very insecure and at the slightest indication of something wrong will assume it means they've been betrayed.

It's nearly impossible to prove you are innocent. But you should point out that a hickey would have been there WHEN he got to your house, and not appeared afterwards. Who knows, maybe he even caused it by rubbing your neck accidentially or something. Hickeys don't take days to appear. They appear pretty much right away.

He needs to learn to trust you. You were sitting there with a fine neck and then had a reaction of some sort. If he's going to be in a relationship with you, he has to have faith in your word, and that you are on his side. If he's going to doubt you any chance he gets, and always assume you're lying, it's going to cause the relationship to break up even if you are completely loyal to him.
