How do I get a girl to open up with me?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male
How can i get a girl to open up with me. we are in the middle of being friends and bf/gf i'm sure of that. just she is shy. and when i try to start a conversation and she doesn't say much, like if i asked how was your weekend she say "fine"...nothing more. then i change the subject to something new and so on. Do i just tell her to try to talk more and not to worry about making a fool of herself because i'll like her either way.

RomanceClass.com Advice
It's tough to get a shy person to open up. It takes time and patience. Begin by being very talkative yourself. That will show her that you trust her and she will begin to trust you and speak more.

Try to gently talk about her shyness... ask her if she feels shy with you. If she says yes ask her to always feel free to talk about anything with you that you understand she is shy and you want to help.

Ask her about her family, ask her about her daily routine. For example, what do you do in the morning to get ready for school. The more detail you put in the question makes it harder to answer with just one word.
