Needs idea for asking girlfriend to dance

I have been going to with this girl for a while now and there is a dance at our school that we want to go to. However, she still wants me to ask her to it but i am running out of ideas. I need a new, romantic way of asking her to our dance.

OK here's a dumb idea but it will probably get her laughing. Get a flower of some kind (ideally a pansy) and hold it out to her and say:
"Here is a pansy, shall we go to the dancy?"

OK that was dumb, instead get a small bouquet of flowers and give them to her and ask her to go to the dance.
