she says were are only friends and we act like friends around each other, but a lunch i caught her looking at me a couple times and we held eye contact for a second. Also we hug but when we hug all it is, is we stand side by side (walking together in the hall) and we put are arms around each others shoulders, what would be a polite way to get a real hug were you are acctually are face to face. (without jumping in front of her) Should i just turn her around while my arm is over her shoulder

I think the simplest way to get the hug you want is to take advantage of the side-to-side hug and convert it to a front hug. The way to do this is when you come time to part, stop walking and swing yourself in front of her and say "Here is a goodbye hug"

This could then result in a "hello hug" when you first meet. Remember, she probably want to hug just as much as you do.
