Cute guy but he likes rock

i like this guy and he is really cute and he knows i like him and he is so different from me. he is like a guy who likes rock and stuff like that and he and I are SO different
is this ok because i dont know if i sould go out wiht someone who is so different from me. he doesnt really like to hold hands and get to close while i do. is this ok? i really need your help with this one cause i am having second thoughts because were so different. i have asked you guys 4 advice before and you guys are so awsome.

Many boys do not like to hold hands in public so perhaps that is his reason. As far as your being different, that has to be your decision. If you pursue this relationship, he could develop strong feelings for you and then be hurt when you break up with him.

Perhaps you should listen to your instincts and find a new boy.
