Are we only friends?

Hello I've been here before with the submission "how can i deal with not seeing her throughout the entire summer." well schools up again and we are still friends i asked if she liked me she said "Your okay (my name)! Just take it slow!" exactly like that. Does that mean we are only friends or does she love me. I also asked if she wanted to eat lunch (we have the same lunch period)with me and she said "we'll see about it(with a smile)" I know i love her, even though were only in 8th grade, i know. one last thing if she says she loves me does that mean we can kiss/hug or would i have to ask her that

I think you are still in the friendship stage. She seems open to the possibility of being more than friends but isn't quite ready. Keep after her to have lunch together, but keep in mind that she may already have friends that she sits with. Perhaps you could say "Could I join you for lunch today?" which gives her the opportunity to accept either with friends or alone. Remember she said to take it slow, so respect her wishes on that. If she does tell you that she loves you, you can hug/kiss without asking her.
