Jealous about new boyfriend

My boyfriend and I have been dating a little over a month. Since that being not very long, I haven't established full trust in him yet. Today on the phone he asked "Would it make you mad if I hung out with other girls?" I didn't want to asnwer yes because that would seem somewhat as if I was overly jealous and don't want him to have female friends, so I said "I don't know". The problem is, I really do care if he hangs out with other girls because he is a very attractive person and very easy to get along with. He tells me that he loves me and would never cheat on me, but I still worry about it. Is there any real reason to worry? And how do I overcome this feeling of jealousy?

As he has only been you boyfriend for a month, it is understandable that you are not sure about his faithfulness. It takes time to develop the trust that is so important to a loving relationship. The only way to build that trust is to let him hang out with other girls. If he cheats, it is better to find out now.
