Diabetes

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Hi, i really like this guy. He's really sweet and fun to be around with. I've known him for 2 years now. The only thing about him that upsets me is that he has diabetees and i dont know if that is going to interfere with the relationship we might have. i mean were like the best of friends right now and i know that for sure that he likes me more than a friend by the way he acts and the things he says to me. But i really dont think that changes anything or does it? Can we still kiss and make out? Can you give me some advice? thank you, it would be very well appreciated. (im very sorry for writing so long..)

RomanceClass.com Advice
At your age, the odds are good that there would be no sexual problems with diabetes. Kissing and making out are fine. However, if you are considering marriage, you ought to consult a doctor to find out the long term effects of diabetes in a partner.

Best wishes,
George
