Does the Preacher Like Me?Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
Hey! There's this 22 year old guy that I really like. He's also fixing to be a Preacher. Last week during camp he gave me the impression that he may like me back, but I'm not sure. A lot of girls has already told him they like him but I never did. What he did to give me the impression was that he poked me in the stomach, pulled on my hair clamp, patted me on the back, smiled and winked at me, tried to fool me because I'm gulable, flicked water in my face, his fellow counselors picked on me, he would look at me from across the room every now and then, there's 9 pics with me in them out of over 200, one pic is me sitting at my lunch table with a bunch of kids.
my new Preacher (that's married and has a toddler) asked me one night if I had a boyfriend, if I was looking for one, and if I had my eye on a particular person. Well, I had my eye on the 22 year old and I told him that I didn't have one and I was looking for one. But the guy I like said he was afriad to get married and but he's single.
Should I ask my new Preacher why he asked me that question and can you tell if the 22 year old "likes" me from all this? Also, his Birthday is coming up soon and I want to give him a gift, any ideas? Thank you!
All the things you described are normal flirting behavior. You really can't watch general behavior and then "know" what someone is thinking! The only way to know is to spend time with them and talk with them. If it's hard for you who were there, how can a third party who wasn't even there possibly know what he was thinking :)
