What I would suggest is all the standard things. Watch romantic movies, read romantic poetry, find 2009 ways of saying "I love you" to your partner. Cut out love notes in the shape of hearts. Find quirky ways to let him know you care. Spend half an hour just kissing him. Talk to him, and more importantly, listen to him.

The most romantic thing is knowing that someone cares enough to really understand what's going on in your life, so do that for your partner and you will be all set.
