if he loves me you'd think he'd want to keep in touch with me right?

My boyfriend's going away for the summer and I know I'm really going to miss him. Before he left he told me he was going to miss me so much and he kept telling me how much he loves me...and I know he means what he says but he also told his friend that he's not going to be able to keep in touch with me. Not even a postcard or phone call! I don't know what it means and I'm a little mad. I mean if he loves you'd think he'd want to keep in touch with me right? I just don't know what to think.

Some people are just really horrible about keeping in touch with others. You just have to deal with that and don't take it that he doesn't like you, just take it that he's a klutz when it comes to writing letters. Is there any way that you can do the keeping in touch part for him? IM him? Txt msg him on his phone? Summer won't last forever. He'll be back before you know it. Have faith and trust that this will all work out for the best.
