Is he to old for me?

Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Female
I'm 14 almost 15 and I know a guy who goes to my church sometimes and I talk to him a lot.He told one of my guy friends that he thought I was hot and he liked me. And I'm happy and all because I like him, but the downside is that he's 18. I'll be going into high school and he just graduated. But I dunno if that is to much of an age difference to even try going out. Is it? Is there any way we can work it out? Because he is someone I can actually trust, and I know they care. But I dunno if I should even waste my time trying to get him or not. What should I do? Is he to old for me? Please help! Advice
Yes, if you're 15 and he's 18, then he's too old for you. He's going to be setting up his life with a job and house and all that. And you're still in school studying English Grammar. So it just is two different worlds that don't match up well. He will be finding people his own age to hang out with and you wouldn't fit in with them. Likewise, he wouldn't fit in with your gang.

Spare yourself a lot of heartache and find someone in your high school to date.

Good luck!
