Feeling Wishy-Washy
Visitor's Question from a 13-15 year old Male I've been with my girlfriend for about 6 months and I feel like I really love her, but sometimes I feel like being single and doing my own thing. When i'm around her it's great, but when I don't see her it doesn't really matter, and i dont know how to tell her that it's over, what should i say?
RomanceClass.com Advice It doesn't sound like it's over, it sounds like you're going through the normal doldrums. The "rush and excitement" of first love is past, and now you're dealing with the reality of long term love. Believe me, that rush doesn't last forever. But what develops, the real knowing each other, is far better.
Sure, you like to do things alone. That's normal! Everybody likes time alone, nights out with the guys, dinners with the girls. But when you're together you enjoy that time too. That's the beauty of a balanced relationship.
