I generally don't like guys first

Hiya!
I am really lost, on this one. I generally don't like guys first, they usually like me, and then I get to know them and possibly like them. However, this time it is different! This guy, I really, truely like is sending me all of these mixed signals! Ok, he took me out driving around town once, and I thought it was too soon to kiss, so I gave him a hug goodbye, but he asked me to go out to see a movie with him, and I don't know if he means like as friends or on a date! Please, tell me how do I know if he is interested!?????

You know he's interested because after a hug he asked you out. Most guys, if they are only after one thing and don't get it, don't go back for more disappointment. He sees that you repsect yourself and he respects that (plus you've also made the chase a little more interesting).

Go out with him. Have a nice time. You'll know what his intentions are before the end of the evening.
