Well there is this girl that i really like. She kept asking me who i liked so i finally told her that it was her. Then she told me that she likes me to, and she has for a while. The only problem is she has a boyfriend already, and has for like 8 months now. Her boyfriend is a junior too, but we are both freshmen. Though she knows i like her and i want to go out with she is still going out with her boyfriend. I thought they were about to break up when i told her but she made up with him now. The only problem she came up with is we dont see each other over the summer but i said we could go out and stuff so that problem is solved. My questions are why is she still going out with this kid. Why doesn't she break up with him. She says she likes me more than him anyway so i don't see what the problem is. Also is there anything i can do to try and get her to break up with him that isn't to mean or rude. Finally if they don't break up is it ok for her and i to still do stuff together outside of school in groups.Thanks

She's in love with both of you, and so it doesn't benefit her to break up with the guy. It's a whole lot easier for her to do nothing and continue dating the junior. Yes, continue to do stuff with her outside of school, that's perfectly fine. But I wouldn't recommend trying to break them up because then if someone else were to do that to you, you'd be crushed. You don't want a girlfriend who would ditch a relationship so easily.
Although you know that this girl likes you back, you can see that she's not leaping over herself to date you. So you should find someone new to take her place.
