I have been crazy about this guy for over six months

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
I have been crazy about this guy for over six months. I hid my feelings from him. I flirted and threw hints at him, but I never told him exactly how I felt. Well, about two weeks ago I finally got up the nerve and told him. I felt like a complete fool because he has started dating someone steadly.
He is good friends with one of my friends. He told my friend that he didnt understand why I was pursuing him now when I had the opportunity a while back. The reason why I didn't then is because I wasn't really sure how he felt about me. Well, now that he knows how I feel he acts very cocky and has a major attitude. Sometimes he speaks to me and sometimes he doesn't. I am so confused. I don't know if I need to move on or just ignore him. I feel like if I don't ignore him then my feelings will continue to resurface. Thank you!

Well, if he wants to know why you didn't act then, send him a link to this post.

In terms of his attitude, don't reward negative behavior. When he acts like a jerk, ignore him. When he acts like a normal guy, speak to him. This way you will show that you still have your self-respect.

Next time, if you are attracted to someone, don't wait. Men are lousy at getting hints (generally speaking). You may also want to avoid dating at work or else you fall into situations like this.
