I want to tell this person how I feel

Hi. I have a friend who I really enjoy hanging around with. I really like this "Person very much, and speak about him/ she 24-7. I want to tell this person how I feel about him/she, but I cannot because of the feeling I get when I try to! What do I do?

Telling someone you like them is always a difficult thing because you're opening yourself up and you're vulnerable. You're wanting a certain response from them, but you're afraid of rejection. This is a pefectly sensible reaction.

How you get over that is to just brazen your way through it. Get up the courage and tell this person that you have something to tell them. Say that you've been feeling closer and closer to them, and that you were wondering how they were feeling about you. With any luck, you'll get a positive response. If not, then say that you value the friendship more and you hope that the two of you can continue to be friends.

Yes, it'll be hard, it always is. But it'll settle your feelings of anxiety of not knowing.
